A few moments ago, I realised that I have a tablet that has been sitting on desk, covered in dusk for almost the past year.

So... guess who got a job?
ME!!! YAY!
... well okay, it's not really a job, as I don't get paid for it but the reason I applied for it was so I would gain some work experience and then hopefully that wold get me a job somewhere I want. So it's got to be in the right direction, right?
Better than sitting in the house all day on this site and tumblr.
Not that I don't enjoy doing that,
because I do,
but I hear the real world calling in the distance,
unfortunately.
So right now it's spend the rest of the week on another Little shop of Horror pic;
Holiday,
then start this work experience for 8 weeks.
Of course I'll still be drawing. Got a few new ideas planned.

Looking for a new style.

Hello everyone.
For anyone looking for YourFavoritePlushie and was surprised to see the account gone... well here I am! Under the new name KirstyEmma.
The reason behind this choice was because I wanted to start fresh with my art. I was getting a little tired with the same anime/cartoon style that I've been doing for the past couple of years. I want to grow more as an artist and try and find my own style, but I think finding that style right away is a little farfetched, I mean you can't click your fingers and be the artist you want to be in that single second, lol.
So I think what I'm going to do is explore other types of styles, some by well known artists, maybe a few fanarts of TV shows and movies (I'm actually going to try and mix the two, see what happens when I draw the cast of Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars in the styles of famous 70s and 80s artists. Looking forward to it!
